Jeff is a dynamic biopharma leader with 20 years of experience across Oncology, CNS, and rare disease R&D, including in-licensing, out-licensing, pre-launch commercialization, and CRO management. He holds a PhD in Life Sciences with multiple publications in top scientific journals, bringing a strong passion for science and a focus on patient outcomes. Jeff is known for cultivating a vast global network and excelling in finding, negotiating and closing deals, with expertise in driving business development and strategic partnerships. In his most recent role as Founder & Managing Partner at Point Loma Biopharma, Jeff led business development and fundraising for oncology and rare disease biotech companies, including A28 Therapeutics and Archetype Therapeutics. Previously, Jeff was Vice President of Business Development at Polaris Pharmaceuticals where he led out-licensing efforts and secured multiple term sheets for rare oncology treatments, managed M&A assessments, and played a key role in the company’s commercialization strategy and regulatory filings. In his personal time, Jeff enjoys paddleboarding and golf. He recently launched his own podcast series, "Innovating Tomorrow's Medicine," in which he explores the challenges faced by people around the world who are developing new medical treatments. Jeff has his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from University College of London and Masters in Neuroscience from The University of Manchester
